Patrick "Pat" Page (17 March 1929 - 11 February 2010) was a stage magician born in Dundee, Scotland. He became a professional magician at the age of 26 and worked at Davenport's magic shop for fifteen years.

Pat appeared on The Paul Daniels Magic Show and was an uncredited consultant to the film Casino Royale. He worked as an advisor to Derren Brown and appeared in, or advised films and television shows: the 2007 film Magicians, Agatha Cristie Poirot: The Disappearance of Mr. Davenheim (1990), Heroes of Magic (2000), Tales of the Unexpected: Season 5, Episode 5 Stranger in Town (23 May 1982), Derren Brown Presents the 3D Magic Spectacular (2009)

On his death Jack Delvin, then president of The Magic Circle described him as the "magician's magician". Magician Wayne Dobson described him as a "great friend, mentor and magical adviser". He left behind his daughter Janette, son Jeremy and Grandson Robert

The Hull Magicians' Circle are delighted to welcome Janette who will present pictures and video footage (some of which has never been shared before in the magic world) covering the life of Pat Page, growing up in a magic household, the Patrick Page Audio Archive and his magic.

Janette Page Linkedin Bio:

3 years ago with my husband Philip and brother Jeremy, we set up Patrick Page Magic, an online magic business which has successfully published several books, and has marketed magic tricks, DVDs, books, CDs and other material for magicians in more than 36 countries. More information on Patrick Page Magic can be found on www.patrickpagemagic.co.uk
The business was set up ostensibly to honour the memory of my father, the late Patrick Page and to ensure that his valuable contribution to the world of magic was not forgotten. People are invited to share stories and photos of my father which we publish online.
The company was also used as a vehicle to promote Magic Page by Page the book written by my father about the tricks and effects that he invented and with an insight on how to perform them. My father finished the book a week before he died and had asked us to self publish it on his behalf. Finally the book was published in November 2011 and all 1,000 copies of the hard back 1st Edition of that book were recently sold out.
The 2nd edition of the book in soft cover version is currently being printed and about to be put on sale. Details will be provided shortly but to be the first to know please send an email to me at sales@patrickpagemagic.co.uk and I will ensure that you are the first to know when it will be available and the cost. We post worldwide.
My brother Jeremy, my husband Philip and I demonstrate magic tricks and effects and sell magic related material at magic conventions direct to magicians and those interested in magic.
The lastest project that we have been working for some time is the Patrick Page Sound Archive. My father interviewed lots of famous people from the entertainment world back in the 1970s. Sadly both he and those people are no longer with us. The vast majority of the recordings have never been released. We are converting them to digital format and will be releasing them soon as a collection.
